Absolutely beautiful. The idea of nature as refuge is one to which I can relate. I feel like the country is crumbling into chaos and yet the natural world remains blissfully unaware, following the rhythms of the seasons and fulfilling its destiny as part of the web of life. There is something comforting about that.
